Fun with Zella Rose

Zella Rose came over to play while Manda was speaking on a panel about home birth. This weekend, Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein, came to Chicago for the showing of their film "The Business of Being Born." Their film explores how birthing in America has become a business and has taken the labor out of the hands of the people doing the birthing, the mothers. It's out on DVD now; I recommend it.

Sylvia and Zella Rose got to play together. They had fun exchanging sippy cups, watching me blow bubbles, throwing the ball, walking the halls, and playing in the snow. Here are some photos.

Sylvia insists on trading sippy cups.

Sylvia gives Zella her cup back.

Oh my goodness! I read about that movie in my Mothering magazine subscription. I'm glad you got to go! Way cool. Jerri
